The Best Party Ever

Tom aka "T Hizzle" and his life partner Chris aka "Ricky" were excellent hosts this Saturday Night for the Annual Hindman Bash! A lot of hard work went into preparing and hosting this fine event...we should know, we watched them from our driveway for the last two weeks. Chris and Tom both worked their tails off to make sure everything was perfect! There was great food, a lot of terrific music and a ton of booze! (We kicked the first keg before 10pm.) On top of all that, the weather was again perfect!

Headlining the event was the excellent Trio, Holt 45

..... and they ROCKED our faces off. These guys are all excellent musicians/singers and they play the widest variety of music around. From Damien Rice to John Mayer to Justin Timberlake to Weezer to Britney Spears to REM to Grateful Dead to TOOL, it seems like they "celebrate everybody's entire catalog." And to think this is just a side project.....while away from the band Shovelhook.

Chris Holt, John Holt, and Rob Holt

Joel Shea also did a great job.....

He not only rocked on his guitar but he also played some songs on his "Uke." Quiet Riot's "Come on Feel the Noise" was a standout for me, but I also heard a lot of positive feedback about his Hannah Montana cover. What a versatile musician and great singer. Joel is also part of a duo with his brother creatively called Two Shea.

Yours truly, Chris Lebresco started off the evening.

I would like to Thank Holt 45 for allowing me to also play during their breaks. It allowed me to get more experience playing in front of a large crowd. Their advice and support over the last year has been the greatest.

Finally, I would like to thank Tom for sitting in and playing an excellent Cajon during "Last Kiss." You are one hell of a percussionist.

(Anyone who has cool pictures from the party, please send them to me. I would love to post them.)
