A Fun-filled Friday in Florida!

While we are all freezing our butt-cheeks off here in the Northeast, let's not forget Susan & Ray are tanning theirs down in Florida.

We will be visiting them soon and taking our first family flight.
Jagger is getting excited for the plane ride. I continue to worry that it is gOING To be a nightmARe of a time. (B keeps pressing the "CAPS" button.) Any tips from the experienced parents would be greatly appreciated. I remember my first flight, it was to Florida, and my ears hurt the entire way.

JAGGER'S SICK DAY

A week or so ago, Jagger was sick from school.
So instead of school, we hit baseballs!!!
He is very good, although this clip isn't his best showing.
He still gets a couple good hits in.

Congratulations, Aunt Marsha!

She has been nominated at her job for a "MAJOR" Award!

(Editorial Note: Previous picture was placed in error, this is Marsha Miller)

The Annual "Pros" Award

Our Nominees this year are:

Robert Couch, Scott Steben, Jerry Cramer, Brock Hermansen, Chris Fandel, Liisa Hitchcock, Dwayne Waters, Lorena Garcia, Mike Keener, Brian Adams, Nathan Jensen and Marsha miller !!!

The "Pros" Awards categories include Best Superintendent, Best Project/Production Manager, Best Land Development Superintendent, Best Customer Service Representatives in both field and office, Best Field Technician, Best Purchasing Agent/Manager, and for the first time Best Office Professional.

From the looks of the e-mail above, Marsha has two things going for her.

1. Marsha is the only nominee with a lower case last name.

2. And the only one with exclamation points following her name!!!

Could they give any more hints as to who the winner is....really, she is a shoe in.

It doesn't really matter though, you are already a winner in our book Aunt Marsha!

Congratulations!

Your company is lucky to have you.

SCANNER STRIKES AGAIN

Who is this child???

I think "Jagger" looked like this for maybe one day.
It was a tough day.
He weighed 30 lbs in this photo and he still weighs 30 lbs.

(Photo taken at Relay for Life, 15 months?)

Just another day at home with my kids

"Daddy Daddy, the lamp fell down all by itself!"

Continuing Coverage of Chris' Cholesterol

April 2007
Total Cholesterol - 186 (HIGH) Not Great // Range 0 - 200
HDL - 36 (LOW) Bad // Range 40 - 59
LDL - 124 (HIGH) Bad // Range 0 - 100

March 2008
Total Cholesterol - 186 (HIGH) Not Great // Range 0 - 200
HDL - 59 (HIGH) Good // Range 40 - 59 (Great turn around!)
LDL - 111 (HIGH) Bad // Range 0 - 100 (Want this well under 100)

I have spent the last year, in addition to taking care of my kids, watching my diet and exercising a great deal. I eat for the most part a very healthy diet and rarely consume red meat. Despite this, my cholsterol level (mainly my LDL's) still stinks. I am a little excited that I have been successful (through diet and exercise) to take my HDL (Good Cholesterol) from Poor - 36 to Great -59.

Verdict: Need to get on Medication to lower my LDL (Bad Cholesterol).

Other than that, my blood test and urine sample show that I am a very healthy person.

Circus during the Day....Awake all night!

Okay, yesterday I said the Circus was perfect.

Well, I spoke to soon.

Turns out it threw the kids off their napping/sleeping schedules and both kids were awake until close to midnight and then up again at 4:45 in the morning.

Caught on video is what the kids were doing while I was typing the "circus" post last night at 11:30pm.

B is a speed demon.

This past Friday night we had a chance to go and hang out with Aunt Krista and Uncle Phil.

We were there to celebrate a "belated" birthday with Aunt Krista.

Happy Birthday Krista!

For her birthday, Krista had the opportunity to cook us dinner.
It was delicious....green beans and shrimp over rice....Yummy.
What a good cook. She also made an excellent homemade guacamole dip.

Lindsay and I had fun eating, drinking and talking and the children
had a blast running around Phil and Krista's huge house.

Hopefully Phil and Krista had a good time too!

Trip to the Circus!

Sunday we went to the circus!
It wasn't Ringling Brothers, it was better,
this circus had dogs and ponies.
It also had a single family of four running the entire show.
It actually was "perfect."

We had a great time and here's proof...

LABOR PAINS

Having kids ain't easy!

(with Jagger)

(with B)

PS: Someone needs to vote for Jagger, don't let him be the least favorite family member!

The Scanner Strikes Again!

One of my favorite photos.
Halloween 1984???

I love any photo where I am the tallest...not the shortest, like today.

As I am typing this, I sneezed and Brooke just said "bless you." Awesome.
Nick, however, said nothing!...and I say bless you to him every single time he sneezes, even if it is ten in a row.

Another Favorite!
I am guessing that this is Christmas 1981?
Puppy Dog is far left...the scanner couldn't fit the whole picture.

Ten bucks says Phil ate the boogie!!!!

Cousinly Love!

I hate to break this to you Pretty- you're related.

Oh and you live like a block from each other.

Oh and you have the same last name so everyone will know you're related.

There is no escaping this crazy kid!

Ahhh... nothing beats cousinly love.

It's so cute.

THE VOTES ARE IN!!!
Pictures of The Kids Wins by a Landslide.

Thanks to all that voted.
Thanks also to Susan
and the one other person
(in addition to myself)
that voted for me!

To celebrate the victory, here is a slideshow I put together.
I hope you enjoy.

The Queen Bee!

Baby B in here new full size bed. We felt she should have a full-size bed just in case she wanted to have a boy over. Actually, we were forced to breakdown her crib because she was consistently climbing out.

By the way, I never had anything bigger than a twin until college when I found a king-size water bed out for the trash at my apartment complex.

Yes, I trash-picked a bed!!!

NICK'S REWARD

Recently Nick received "a major award" for his continued good job of "peeing" on the potty.
Nick was able to collect 10 sunshine stickers for each full day of peeing on the potty with no accidents. On the tenth day, a package arrived at the house marked "F-R-A-G-I-L-E" we think it is from Italy. Inside, was a new bike called a Scuut. It has no pedals and is used to help kids learn how to balance in preparation for riding a real bicycle. So far so good.

RANDOM PICTURES OF THE "B"-STER!

She was awesome. Go Mommy Go!

WHO WILL BE THE NEXT VICTIM?
Feel free to send me pictures by email or snail mail.
